My name is Shanyra Cox. I am a graduate of Eastern Illinois University where I received my

Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Spanish. After college I had an amazing opportunity to travel to Zacatapec,

Mexico. I taught English at the local university while also experiencing everything the language and culture had to offer. I have an M.A. in Instructional Technology. This year will be my

nineteenth year in the Edwardsville School District. I am looking forward to another exciting year teaching the third, fourth, and fifth graders in  the Edwardsville School District.
